Access data / server log files (non-personal data)
F.EE (or our web space provider) collects data about every access to the F.EE websites (so-called server log files). Access data includes: Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. F.EE uses the log data - information that is not assigned to a specific person - only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications.
Handling of personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes your name, e-mail address, address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by F.EEE if this is legally permitted or if the user consents to the data collection (e.g. by filling in contact forms, registration, participation in surveys).
When contacting F.EE (for example via contact form or e-mail), the user's details are used to process the request, in the event that follow-up questions arise and to provide access to certain information or offers. In order to maintain customer relations, it may therefore be necessary for F.EE to store and process personal data and make it available to the other companies of the F.EE group of companies in order to better respond to requests or to improve the products and services of F.EE. Furthermore, it may also be necessary for F.EE (or a third party on F.EE's behalf) to use this personal data to inform about F.EE offers that are useful for the business activities of interested parties. Of course, F.EE respects your wishes if you do not want to provide your personal data to F.EE to support the customer relationship (especially for direct marketing). F.EE will not sell or otherwise market your personal data to third parties, except to companies of the F.EE Group.
Disclosure to recipients outside the EEA
We may also disclose personal data to recipients based outside the European Economic Area, in so-called third states. In such case, we make sure before disclosure that the recipient either has an appropriate data protection level in place (e.g. based upon an adequacy decision by the EU Commission for the country in question or the agreement of so-called EU Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Union with the recipient) or that you granted your consent to such disclosure.
Duration of storage; retention periods
In general, we store your personal data as long as this is required for the provision of our offers or as long as we have a legitimate interest in continued storage (for example, we may have a legitimate interest in postal marketing after fulfilment of the contract). In all other cases, we delete your personal data with the exception of data which we have to keep for the fulfilment of legal obligations (e.g. under tax or commercial law).
User rights according to GDPR
- Right to correction and deletion
According to art. 16,17 GDPR users have the possibility to have their data stored with us corrected or deleted at any time. We will comply with your request immediately, whereby already running automated actions (e.g. newsletter dispatch) may not be stopped immediately, which can lead to the fact that users still receive advertising mails within a certain period after the deletion.
- Right to information
According to art. 15 GDPR, users can obtain information at any time as to what data we have stored about them and the purpose of data processing.
- Right of objection
According to art. 21 GDPR, users have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning them at any time.
- Right to limitation of processing
According to art. 18 GDPR, users have the right to request the restriction of the processing of their personal data at any time.
With the following information we inform users about the contents of our newsletters as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedure and their rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, users agree to the receipt and the described procedures.
We will only send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications containing advertising information (hereinafter "newsletters") with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. If the contents of a newsletter are specifically described within the scope of a registration, they are decisive for the consent of the users. In addition, our newsletters contain information about us, our offers and news from the F.EE divisions and the industry.
The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in with other e-mail addresses.
The administration and the mailing of the F.EE newsletters is carried out by CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, and meets the requirements of the European Data Protection Act. In addition, the CleverReach account is set up to be 100% data protection compliant. The data of the opening and clicking recipients are anonymously visible to F.EE. In addition, IP addresses are not completely collected and processed. F.EE cannot determine which individual has clicked on what in the newsletter. When you register for the newsletter, the following data is collected and transmitted to CleverReach: e-mail address (required). We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of CleverReach. CleverReach is committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. We have concluded a contract with CleverReach for order data processing. This is a contract in which CleverReach undertakes to protect the user's data, to process it on our behalf in accordance with the user's data protection regulations and in particular not to pass it on to third parties.
The data of the opening and clicking recipients are anonymously visible to F.EE. In addition, IP addresses are not completely collected and processed. F.EE cannot determine which individual has clicked on what in the newsletter.
Cancellation/Revocation: Recipients can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke their consent. At the same time, your consent to its dispatch via CleverReach and the statistical analyses expire. Users will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.
General Data Protection Regulation: In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable from 25 May 2018, we inform you that your consents to the sending of e-mail addresses are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 GDPR and § 7 para. 2 no. 3 and para. 3 UWG. The use of the shipping service provider CleverReach and the performance of statistical surveys are based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We are interested in using a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both our business interests and the expectations of users. We would also like to point out that users can object to the future processing of their personal data at any time in accordance with the legal requirements pursuant to art. 21 GDPR. The objection may be lodged in particular against processing for direct marketing purposes.
Objection of advertising mails to F.EE
We herewith object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. F.EE expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event that unsolicited advertising information, such as spam e-mails, is sent.
Use for a specific purpose
F.EE will collect, process and use the personal data provided only for the purposes disclosed, unless the collection, processing or use is for another purpose directly related to the original purpose for which the personal data was collected, for the preparation, is necessary to negotiate and perform a contract with you, is necessary due to legal obligations or official or judicial orders, is necessary to establish or protect legal claims or to defend against legal actions, or serves to prevent abuse or other unlawful activities, e.g. intentional attacks on the F.EE systems to ensure data security.
