On September 1, 2026, 20 apprentices and one dual-track student began their training at the F.EE Group in Neunburg vorm Wald. The students’ parents were invited to the welcome ceremony at the company headquarters.
The cohort is spread across six professions: Five of the apprenticeship positions are for electronics technicians, four for mechatronics technicians, four for precision mechanics, three for technical product designers, two for IT specialists, and two for industrial business clerks. In addition, there is one dual-track student majoring in industrial engineering.
The first day began with a welcome address by Human Resources Manager Udo Starck, who gave those present a glimpse into the “F.EE world.” While the parents were then given a tour of the facility, the trainees’ schedule included organizational formalities, photo sessions, and an orientation presentation. At lunchtime, everyone gathered in the company cafeteria for a group lunch, before the trainers took their new trainees on a tour of the company buildings that afternoon.
The following days included orientation sessions and safety training, as well as a “meet and greet” with senior management. Afterward, the “newcomers” moved to their respective departments. A visit to the BMW plant in Dingolfing is scheduled for November.
“For us, apprenticeship training is not a side issue, but the most important source of our next generation of skilled workers,” said Udo Starck. “We want to show young people from the region that they don’t have to move away to pursue a technical career at an internationally active company.”
Starck also pointed out that the apprenticeship stipend will be raised again in 2026: In the first year of training, trainees can earn up to 1,345 euros. In addition, they receive Christmas bonuses, supplementary payments, and vacation pay, a bonus system for trainees, 30 days of vacation, a company pension plan, subsidized lunches in the cafeteria, bike leasing, employee discounts, the “Azubi-Car,” as well as health benefits and company events.
The F.EE Group employs approximately 1,050 people from more than 30 countries, including about 100 apprentices and dual-track students.
