Automation specialist F.EE from Neunburg v.W. was presented by an IT team consisting of 9 people at the SPS IPC Drives Fair in Nuremberg from 28 to 30 November. About 1,700 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors attended the most important meeting of industrial sectors of electric automation.

Apart from FactWork – a F.EE solution for holistic company software – the product range of „software for industry“ were distinguished. It has been focused on new and further development of software tools for applications called Industry 4,0. Visitors all over the world have been interested in digitalisation of manufactoring processes and pre-simulation, so-called virtual startup of machines. Therefor a 3-D sim-ulation software named fe.screen-sim was established on the market. Because of the abbreviation of the period of starting up modern manufacturing and conveyance plants, the realistic simulation during the planning phase is very important, in order to prove and control the sensor technology, the processing time and the process safety of machines and their controlling software later.

That is based on a long-term cooperation with the educational centre of the Chamber of Crafts from Lower Bavaria – Upper Palatinate in Schwandorf providing a considerably software package and a con-tinuous exchange of experiences. Because of the application of technology there are several factors with a positive influence on time, qualitiy, costs for projects of plant engineering and construction. The virtual startup will be improved in this sector, especially for master classes. The improvement of productivity or operating grade and the necessary tools for that are an important case for an apprenticeship. Uli Götz, the leader of the educational centre of the Chamber of Crafts in Schwandorf, was informed about extended news for fe.screen-sim at the fair stand of F.EE and thanked the F.EE chief executive officer, Hans Fleischmann, for good cooperation. Since Simulation enables a virtual and realistic perception with the aid of the so-called Augmented- and Virtual-Reality-Glasses the additional benefit of that application could be improved significantly, Götz said.
