It is one of the topics at which the visitors – around 100 guests including the parents of the trainees and dual students – listened particularly attentively on the day of the training start at F.EE in Neunburg vorm Wald during the welcoming presentation by personnel manager Udo Starck: Training is becoming more important than ever, not despite, but because more and more automation technology is finding its way into industry. Future technologies preserve and create jobs and training is and remains one of the most important factors for securing the skilled workforce of the future.
According to Starck, the fact that training has been going on for more than 30 years and that a lot of energy has been spent on it is not only evident from the latest awards from FOCUS Money and Deutschland Test as the best training company in 2018 and 2019, but is also actually paying off for the company in the long term. "I am delighted that today we can welcome 23 trainees in the fields of electronics, precision mechanics, technical product design and IT as well as 11 dual students in the mechatronics and computer science courses. You have opted for a professional world in which you can work closely on digitization and industry 4.0 projects and from whose opportunities you can profit in the future thanks to the specialist knowledge you will gain."
When the parents set off on a detailed tour of the company, the new trainees and dual students on day one were mainly busy with organizational matters and a lot of basic information, such as working hours and remuneration. Here, a fixed amount is supplemented by an attractive trainee bonus system.
The vacancies in training and dual studies are already enjoying great popularity again for 2020 – the application deadline started a few weeks ago. In order to provide as many young people as possible with the best possible career information and real insights into the company, the Group is once again holding an open afternoon this year at the so-called Training Days. On 9 October, interested schoolchildren can test the various training occupations up close in the large information truck on the F.EE site from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and also take a look behind the scenes of automation technology.
