F.EE modernises six Statkraft Weser power plants

Langwedel, Dörverden, Drakenburg, Landesbergen, Schlüsselburg and Petershagen are the six Statkraft sites requiring comprehensive retrofit works and the hydro power division of the experienced company from Upper Palatinate has been brought on board to assist with the measures by the subsidiary of the Norwegian state group. The contracted works include the optimisation of the plant operation and a significant overall increase in the degree of automation at all six power stations. The project, which is set to run until mid 2019, has now started with the Langwedel power station, with its four Kaplan turbines and an actual power output of 7.2 MW. F.EE has successfully modernised Statkraft sites in the past, including the plants at Werrawerk and Wahnhausen near Kassel in 2013.
