NEXT LEVEL AUTOMATION

At this year's “automatica” in Munich, the F.EE Group will be demonstrating how digital twins and modular best-practice components pave the way to highly efficient production.

Next Level Virtual Commissioning

The F.EE industrial software division presents the new version 5 of the digital twin software “fe.screen-sim”, which offers numerous innovations - particularly in the areas of performance, rendering, conveyor technology, robot simulation as well as data and cycle time analysis. fe.screen-sim V5 sets new standards, particularly in terms of performance: thanks to the new rendering technology, even highly detailed CAD models are displayed smoothly and without loss. In addition, the further developed Power&Free module, which will define the new benchmark particularly for the simulation of large conveyor systems, will celebrate its premiere at “automatica”. Robot simulation has also been improved - collisions can now be avoided at an early stage thanks to the simulation of hose packages. Another highlight of version 5 is the new time control, which opens up completely new analysis options by slowing down or speeding up physical processes. The new statistics plug-in provides users with meaningful key figures in real time directly on the digital twin, and the latest developments in cycle time analysis, which enable precise simulation of cycle times and optimization of production cycles directly in the simulation tool, will also be presented at “automatica”. Of course, one of the main features is also presented with the multi-user capability - several users edit the same model simultaneously and without switching between editing and simulation mode. Hans Fleischmann, Managing Director of the F.EE Group, says: “With version 5, we are taking the next logical step in the development of fe.screen-sim into a holistic, practice-oriented and future-proof tool for virtual commissioning and beyond.”

Next Level Production

At the F.EE stand, the “Automation Robotics” division will provide a compact insight into its comprehensive portfolio of proven best-practice products, components and systems for automation and production. The focus will be on the robot traversing axes, which have already been used thousands of times worldwide and which not only enable safe operation with robots from all manufacturers, but are also characterized by their universal application possibilities - for example for fixtures or tool changers. The new component drawers are celebrating their premiere at “automatica”: Their lightweight design and quick adjustment ensure precise, manual insertion and removal of components in every system - and at a convincing price/performance ratio. F.EE will also be presenting innovative robot grippers and the EGT profile system, which can be modified as required and easily adapted to a wide range of applications. The latch column systems for load carriers also on show enable continuous, efficient and fast stacking as well as component pick-up in the smallest of spaces, while the modular F.EE safety fence systems guarantee reliable machine protection in accordance with the latest safety standards.

“With fe.screen-sim V5 and our best-practice components, we are setting new standards in virtual commissioning and real automation,” concludes Hans Fleischmann.
