As part of the Bavaria-wide “Training Action Days,” around 300 students from the region visited the F.EE Group—the largest employer in Neunburg vorm Wald—from October 13 to 17. The aim of the campaign was to give young people practical insights into technical careers in the metal and electrical industry.

The guests were students from middle schools in Bruck, Neunburg, Oberviechtach, and Waldmünchen, as well as secondary schools in Neunburg and Waldmünchen. The Oberviechtach Gymnasium also took part in the career orientation program.

The focus was on the two-story M+E InfoTruck from the Association of Bavarian Metal and Electrical Employers. Covering 80 square meters, the mobile experience center offered state-of-the-art multimedia technology, interactive stations, and practical tasks. Among other things, the young people were able to operate a CNC milling machine, assemble a gearbox with the help of a cobot, and explore a virtual factory. The program was supplemented by individual career counseling from training experts on site.

Afterwards, the participants were given further insights into the working world of automation technology during a tour of the F.EE production halls. A robot cell developed and put into operation by trainees aroused particular interest – a concrete example of the practical training offered by the company.

Those who would like to learn more about the apprenticeships available at F.EE have the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the various fields of activity by completing an internship. The group offers such internships throughout the year, providing valuable guidance for future career choices.
